Our Powder Hunter trips are designed for the true junkies out there looking to make sure that they are at the heart of every storm cycle delivering fresh, light snow to Hokkaido's mountains. These trips are only assembled at the last minute based on current weather conditions and often travel to resorts quite far from Niseko.

Not for the faint of heart, these trips usually require very early starts and long drives as we are visiting areas not on our normal daily schedule but you can expect the conditions to be worth the effort. We generally offer these trips unguided making it one of the most economical ways to get out and see a bit more of the island and the limitless powder it offers.

Either contact us directly or check in with Niseko Powder Holidays (main office located in the Niseko Downtown building) while your in town to find out if we have anything on. You can also check our blog and/or twitter feed for regular updates through the season.

In particular, you'll want to consider the Powder Hunter if it hasn't snowed in Niseko for a few days or high winds are reducing lift operation.
