New this season, The Powder Hunter gives you ultimate access to our unrivalled local knowledge and maximum flexibility to make sure you get the goods on any given day of the winter. The Powder Hunter trip removes the need to decide in advance which trip is right for you and where the best snow will be on the day of your booking. Options are open to hit the Niseko Back Bowls if snow stability and alpine visibility are cooperating or head to Rusutsu, Sapporo Kokusai, Kiroro, Teine Highland, Moiwa or Chisenupurri if the winds are strong and gladed powder turns are our best bet. Regardless of which area we visit, this is a lift accessed backcountry trip with only short hikes (max 20 minutes) necessary so we can lap up fresh tracks all day long.

As if ensuring yourself the best possible conditions wasn't enough, the PowderHunter is offered at a lower rate than the back bowls trip (usually our first option for if conditions are right) and runs a considerably lower chance of needing to be rescheduled. The actual destination for the day will be determined the night before the trip based on weather, snow conditions and your guide's knowledge. Standard start time is 8:15am but if we are heading further afield we will let you know and depart earlier (applies for trips to Teine, Kokusai and Kiroro). 

Please note that lift tickets are not included in the listed price and will be charged on the day of the trip (cost = 4000Yen with the exception of Niseko passes. If you already have an All Mountain Niseko pass then you can use this otherwise passes can be purchased for between 4900Yen and 5900Yen depending on the type of ticket you would like).
