Headed into the backcountry? Remember that as soon as you leave the designated ski runs there is no patrol and no avalanche control (areas accessed via Niseko's gate system included) and you should be prepared for self rescue at any time. We have all of the essential safety equipment along with all of the gear necessary for self-propelled backcountry travel available for rental or purchase. If you are unfamiliar with this equipment or uncomfortable accepting these risks on your own, join us on a backcountry tour. Our experienced guides will explain the gear, ensure you are skiing in safe terrain and offer a wealth of information to get you started in the backcountry
